Frankly speaking, Ami > Sunohara therefore she deserves a slap.

I hate Ami, she is overly pretentious, what’s up with that? Her methods of angering a person are ridiculously ineffective and weak. She sets a pleasant public image  although she is plain spoilt, annoying and bitchy. When she appears alone with another character (e.g. Taiga), she would switch personalities and treat them in a harsh manner. When her true self is in risk of being exposed she silences the person who would break the shocking news, through her pseudo charming personality. Taiga did a good job keeping Ami at bay by ignoring her. I found Ami exceptionally annoying, even more so than Sunohara in Clannad: After Story 3, her ostentatious attitude reflect clearly on her weakness; that she cannot stand having a bad public image. She does get what she deserves though, she was utterly pissed when Taiga ignored her and she probably doesn’t know that Ryuuji is aware of her behaviour. I loved how Ryuuji handled the situation at the vending machine, he was spot on at preparing a major strike at Ami by fooling her.

I’ll be hoping that she doesn’t ruin Ryuuji and Minori’s relationship further, Minori is neutral towards Ryuuji currently, should anymore misunderstandings like that found in this episode occur, I am afraid Minori may bear hatred towards Ryuuji eternally. Speaking of which, Minori was probably the main source of humor in this episode, her crazy antics are amplified twofold here. Firstly, she walks around with a “Minori Radar” scanning Ami. Secondly, she writes a letter warning Ryuuji not to dump Taiga, she ends it off with “If you dump Taiga… I will punish yooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuu!”, well, the effect was further enhanced with Minori’s voice reading the letter. Lastly, she stands up after receiving Ryuuji’s reply, seemingly angry. It looked as though she were going to run up to Ryuuji, she then smiles before signaling a no. Man, I love Minori’s eccentric yet cute behaviour.

It seems that Ami joined the school for an unknown reason, probably related to her dressing up in a weird manner and buying snacks, Taiga realises what she was doing and is probably exacting revenge the next episode, with Minori.
