Oh hell yes, no more corny lines from Touma before the opening, instead some miko girl does it. The episode spends some time showing the aftermath of the entire memory loss incident. Touma’s memory loss was not revealed to anyone and he has to act as his original self. I think viewers wouldn’t be in for such a ride should Touma had not lost his memories. It is a rather huge complication for Touma as he has to pretend that nothing happened since the event and yet keep up with the crazy happenings, like Stiyl enlisting his help. Speaking of the event, I wonder what Komoe-sensei has to say about Index wrecking up her house. >_>

I am starting to think that Index may just become a comic-relief or support character, she doesn’t seem to be that useful. The show probably revolves around fights, Index isn’t strong, is she? She’ll probably provide some helpful insight at the pit stop at Touma’s house before Touma heads out to do whatever he needs to do. She seems to be good at providing comedy to the show, her various moments are glorious, literally.

The interaction between Index and Touma kept me laughing, Touma rejects what Index wants. Index succeeds in getting a cat into the house by hiding it in her robe. Touma doesn’t like that idea but Index comes up with a series of excuses to free herself from the situation. That scene was just amazing.

The end of the episode got me confused yet again, was there was magical set-up made on the building? Everyone in it just froze except Stiyl and Touma. Why wasn’t Stiyl surprised at the dead armored person? He merely brushes it off as a corpse, why would someone dressed like that be doing at the building and why wouldn’t anyone in it recognise it’s existence by screaming or calling for help. Was Stiyl merely implying that dead people turn into armor with their name engraved on it? Hopefully more light would be shed on this illogical occurence the next episode…

Whatever did Index do at the hospital? Hopefully no-one will rage over this like what happened to Kannagi.

The blue haired guy makes a funny support character.

Erm, didn’t Stiyl want to show Touma the documents? Why is he rotating them around him, an epic failure on his part there.

Stiyl displays some affection for Index, a rare sight of someone who feigns apathy.

Ah… Pretty Shining Love… Yay… Unbelievable…

Was Stiyl intent on doing that? He could’ve killed his soon-to-be partner.
