Some questions left unanswered the last week was answered in episode 8. The situation was explained in a rather vague manner, something related to the innerside and outerside of a coin. Apparently Kamijou, Stiyl and the corpse belonged to the innerside, hence were invisible to those on the outerside; the students. What does that even mean, was there some spell present in the building that caused it? Well, if there was ever one, we have already seen it, the building regained its entire structure after being bombarded by some spell requiring 3333 prayers. Anyway, the students who weren’t moving in the previous episode started moving this week.

Despite having a memory wipe, Kamijou is still as annoying as ever with his sudden realisations and crappy lines. I believe the story will be far more interesting and acceptable should Kamijou speak only when needed. Overall, the episode still captures my attention as it keeps me busy figuring possible explanations for unexplained events, why were knights destroying the building, is there a third-party involved in getting deep blood other than Aleister and Stiyl? Looks like the next episode is packed with loads of Kamijou speech goodness, will be looking foward to it as the Alchemist seemingly beats the crap out of him.

By the way, the music which played after the knights’ incantation was failurific…
