Toaru Majutsu no Index has been going downhill since the second episode, naturally, that makes the current one the crappiest. The character interaction throughout the episode was extremely melodramatic and ridiculously annoying. I am not even sure if they were present for humor or additional appeal, but in both cases, it failed badly. This did not come across as a big surprise though, I’ve seen these pseudo-banters aimed at pretentious humor in several other ’shounen-action’ series, like Bleach and D-gray.man, both of which I quit watching soon after being repeatedly haunted by such crappy conversations.

That wasn’t all either, the Mikoto twin with goggles irks me by ending off sentences with “… said Mikoto”. I’m pretty sure she’s a clone of Misaka, something must’ve gone wrong with the cloning procedure to have generated such a disaster. It seemed as though she spoke in a weird manner to gain attention. I was annoyed that no one questioned the way she spoke and acted as if everything were normal. Come on, is it that hard to detect unusualy speech patterns?

I was glad that Accelerator turned out to be completely normal depite the melodramatic atmosphere of  Toaru Majutsu no Index. He sure does make a creepy villain, I’m definitely rooting for him to kill that frustrating Mikoto twin who speaks abnormally to gain attention…
