Happy New Year!

newyear1Happy New Year!

I’ve been recently wanting to set up a personal blog centered around what I do. Looking back at past experiences in blogging, I would say that I fail miserably at providing interesting snippets of my life. Hence I’ll put the thought of setting up a personal blog on hold and make a short post on non-anime related ideas.

2008 ended rather fruitfully marking the end of my 2 month break from school. And yes, the time of the year, is coincidentally at the start where school reopens. To be truthful, I’m actually keyed up for 2009, school in 2008 felt inexplicably monotonous.

Everyday was spent on completing tasks/assignments then slacking in front of the monitor, there were definitely times where I felt like a photocopy machine. I was caught up in my daily humdrum so much so to be bothered by anything and most free time was spent on playing WoW. Extracuricular activities then were an utter failure for the drama team had not managed to put any planned projects into play. Despite several daunting experiences, 2008 did prove to be an eventful year, for something unprecedented occured, that is I fared relatively well academically, acing all subjects, except chinese – that probably needs work on.

Hence my new year resolution, to have spectacular happenings occur in my inane life at school, and for our play to clinch an award in the upcoming nation-wide festival SYF. Anyway, have a happy new year!

(God, I can’t believe I’ll have to celebrate Chinese New Year too in 2 months’ time…)

[You may have noticed by now that I'm changing the appearance of the blog, apparently I hate reading from the previous font I was using...]
