The episode did not have much development of the characters, excluding Kagome and her lover Masashi, and not forgetting the sibling villains in COLOUR! I was wondering what “Kagome’s secret” was when I browsed though online boards discussing Asu no Yoichi, I was keeping my eyes wide open for the little surprise. It came good, never did I expect Kagome to have an overdeveloped chest.

I’m rather disappointed for the fact that I haven’t cried since Kotomi and Yukine’s individual arcs in season 1 and 2. The string of emotional scenes did send me on the verge of crying, but was perpetually insufficient to generate tears despite being potent. I’m just missing out too much on the Clannad emotional baggage. Now that pressing issues were resolved, humor is likely to ensue to offset the drama spawned by the previous episodes in the following ones.

Fuko’s reappearance was an indication of such a change, it has been a 20 odd episodes since we last saw her and such a comeback was most certainly a pleasant surprise. I’m eager to see what more Clannad has to offer.

Toaru Majutsu no Index finally shows some realistic personalities (Accelerator). Accelerator steals the spoitlight from Kamijou this episode, albeit not completely. As Misaka pointed out, Accelerator, being the cold person he is, enhances his cold facade to intimidate the sisters in bid of saving them. His indirectness reminds of a tsunderes and people irl, he wishes good for people but expresses these negatively.

It was a relieving change from the usual humdrum; Kamijou nonsense. The plot is sound and all, the only thing I disliked was Misaka catching the Kamijou virus and calling it a “psychological theory”, it’s a total misnomer of logical fallacy! And, Accelerator could have used his vector changing abilities to accelerate instead of running.

Falling sick is the perfect excuse to remove a crestfallen person from the plot for a limited time. Ryuuji picked himself up pretty quickly from the ordeal he faced. I’d assume he was bedridden for 5-days after the rejection. Thankfully he did not take the rejection negatively and start slashing his wrists.

I gave up believing in any chances of the random hired assassin of the week ever making it to town after noticing his hidden cluelessness as to where he was. Though the joke became midly apparent after the snake scene, it was still excellent and I had an enjoyable laugh over it.

The state of affairs in Toaru Majutsu no Index is too ironic. Touma gains more worshippers with every arc that passes. Little did I expect that it is viewed as a potential threat to Earth; especially when he gains worshippers like Aisa Himegami by inspiring them with mind-blowing knowledge on how to be a “good” person. Knowing that Kamijou is hunted for wrecking the balance between science and magic further enforces my deicison never to worship Kamijou.

I’ve yet to understand what Minori thinks of Ryuuji, is she really interested in him? The situation is hitherto a contest of giving between two best friends. Minori hasn’t done anything yet to prove that she likes Ryuuji, making it evident she is only acting on Taiga’s wishes for the both of them to be together. Taiga on the other hand came to grips with her love confusion.
