The current episode is the best of the lot, since many plot advancements occurred through believable coincidences(which were pretty humorous).
Ryuuji’s penchant for cleaning lands him, Noto, Haruta and Kitamura in the girl’s room closet. It was then that they eavesdropped on Ami quarreling with Minori and were dropped the hint that Minori rejected Ryuuji for the sake of another person. I was taken aback by the turn of events, Ami forces Minori to explain why she rejected Ryuuji and Ryuuji overhears that, I was anticipating the ToraxDora ending to form through Ryuuji realising Taiga’s dedication to him without external factors like Ami.
That was not the case when Taiga unknowingly confessed to Ryuuji when she confused him with Kitamura. I thought it was a nice way to depict Taiga’s confession as without that, Taiga would never do it without generating awkward emotions and denying her liking for Ryuuji.
What’s left to expand on is probably how Ryuuji reacts to Taiga’s unintentional confession and Ryuuji interacts with Taiga in the future. The story is only going to get more interesting now with the many paths Ryuuji could take. Would he go for Minori but turn for Taiga after severe introspection or would he confront Taiga to affirm her feelings? I can’t wait to see what follows.
